A home correspondence course in the late 60's is the only "Art Schooling" that she has received and believes that it has taken much practice, patience, perseverance and Prayer to develop her God given artistic skills. She gives all Glory to her Creator for the privilege to interpret on paper the beauty that He has created.
Joyce attends many of the art festivals throughout the year, offering Original work along with Limited and open edition prints, penning some Biblical verses along with some of her selected prints.
Her paintings hang in many homes and business places throughout the U.S., Norway, France and India. In July, 2001 she was one of the featured artists in the North Light Magazine. She wishes for the viewer to "step into her paintings" and have their hearts stirred by a fond memory or just create their own little "happy story".
